Go to Steel Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Go for a hike on the Chattooga Trail, and the top of Rock Quarry Mountain is easily seen from Steel Lake. Take a side spree to Carnes Creek. Steel Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls during March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Don't leave Steel Lake without first going for a hike along the Bartram Trail; paddling on Brasstown Creek is so

| | much fun. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Steel Lake, for example Stonecypher Lake; after a long day outdoors Toccoa Days Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. The wonderful people of Toccoa like to hang out close by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Steel Lake has to offer, you can camp at Toccoa Rv Park & Campground.

way to kill some time, and you don’t have to go far from Steel Lake to catch a sight of the water at North Fork Broad River Structure Three Dam. Through the warm months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Steel Lake while overnight
lows are typically in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Steel Lake fall into the 20's. Le Tourneau Lake is a brilliant lake in the
neighborhood of Steel Lake, and Big Panther Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by.
Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Steel Lake. There's so much to do here at Steel
Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hazel Creek RV Park is a delightful spot for that, and Country Hearth Inn Toccoa is a pleasant place to get some rest.
