Be careful coming to Starr Pond, you might not ever want to go back home again. Why not camp at South Oaks Manufactured Home if you're here at Starr Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Hurricane Creek. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - NEWNAN is a magnificent location       to spend a night or two; you're probably interested in lakes, Sewell Millpond is one of those close by. Why not pop by nearby Hood Branch since you're here at Starr Pond; get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Wolf Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn AND Suites Newnan, and an afternoon playing golf at St Andrews Golf & Country Club is always a pleasure. This is a perfect neighborhood for people who like lakes.                  Ross Lake is a lake close by. Lots of rain falls at Starr Pond; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is October. Through the days of summer at Starr Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, commonly in the 60's.
