Spring Lake generally gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is November. This lake is so wonderful. Spring Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Heritage Mobile Home Community is a great place to camp nearby, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn AUGUSTA WEST I-20 is a perfect                  place to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Byron Mobile Home and Camper. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Idlewylde Lake, and a splendid site for whitewater paddling is Savannah River. Spring Lake is a spot with many visitors from Augusta-Richmond County; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stevens Creek. Through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 90's at Spring Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Spring Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
