Why not stop by Sowell Lake if you're passing through these parts. After a long day outdoors Iris Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two, and Sowell Lake Dam is delightful. Sowell Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; March is when you get the most rain here, and October is the month with the least moisture. Summertime at Sowell Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. During

Grape Creek is a stream that you may bump into while here; a lake nearby is Crouch Lake Number Two. Just can't get enough of Sowell Lake. If you need a location to stay Griffin Inn and Suites is a wonderful choice, and if you get bored of Sowell Lake you could also visit close by Crouch Lake Number Three. This lake is so wonderful. is one of the destinations that are great to stop at close by. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Sowell Lake you'll meet some folks from Thomaston for sure, and Sowell Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day
at, Pirkle Campground is a pleasant local campground. Get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Little Towaliga River, and if the weather is wonderful, you acquire a good vista of Barrow Hill from Sowell Lake.
