South Jones Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the months of summer here at South Jones Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 90's, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 70's. Through the winter this place gets       highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to South Jones Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's some interesting stuff to see at South Jones Lake Dam near South Jones Lake. There's so much to do here at South Jones Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Southern Gates RV Park and Campground is a nice spot for that. South Jones Lake is not far at all from Cordele. If you need a spot to stay Ashburn Days Inn is a perfect choice; Conner                  Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
