High temperatures at Smith Pond throughout the months of summer are in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the       70's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 60's while Smith Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Claxton Sewage Treatment Pond Dam is not far at all from Smith Pond, and Plyler Pond is a brilliant lake nearby. There's so much to do here at Smith Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Tattnall Campground is a wonderful location for that, and Smith Pond is a location with many visitors from Statesboro.                  This place rules, just explore all the cool stuff to do in close proximity to Smith Pond.
