Summertime at Smith Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Smith Pond. Stay the night at Parkwood RV Park; after a long day outdoors SpringHill Suites Statesboro University Area is a nice location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip       to Smith Pond you'll meet some people from Statesboro for sure, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Smith Pond Dam. A round of golf at nearby Southern Links Golf Club is a magnificent way to kill some time. Smith Pond gets a great deal of water; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is November.
