Smith Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mulberry Creek. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Smith Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Pines Camp Ground. A nice spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Smith Lake is Chattahoochee River. There's so much to do here at Smith Lake that you need to camp here for a while,

Visit Cooper Branch since you're here at Smith Lake, and Flat Rock Lake is a magnificent lake nearby. So much fun stuff close
to Smith Lake, clearly impressive. Not far from Smith Lake you obtain some nice water scenery at Bull Creek Watershed Dam Number Four; after a long day outdoors WYNDHAM GARDEN COLUMBUS is a nice location to spend a night or two. For
the duration of the long summer days at Smith Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Smith Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
