Bull Creek Watershed Dam Number Four is worth a visit since you're here, and Lake Pines Camp Ground is a brilliant campground here. This lake is so wonderful. At Smith Lake you always meet someone from Columbus, and Smith Lake is a fine place to camp, Anthony's Mobile Park is a fine place. A great site for whitewater paddling near Smith Lake is Chattahoochee River, and if you need a site to stay WYNDHAM GARDEN       COLUMBUS is a wonderful choice. Smith Lake gets much water; during July this area sees the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. While you're here at Smith Lake, you could also visit delightful Anthony Lake; after a long day outdoors Home-Towne Suites - Columbus is a great place to spend a night or two. Summertime highs at Smith Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs during                  the wintertime are in the 50's; nighttime lows at Smith Lake during the winter mostly dip into the 30's. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. For you golfers we recommend close by Bull Creek Golf Course, and as expected Cooper Branch is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at.
