You'll need more than a day to discover everything Smith Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hortense wesleyan Camp. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Smith Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Darien Inland Harbor Camp is a glorious spot for that, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Darien is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Throughout the summer       at Smith Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 60's, and nighttime lows at Smith Lake throughout the winter regularly plunge into the 30's. Barker Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and obviously Aleck Island Branch is a delightful stream that is worth taking a look at. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area in                  the vicinity of Smith Lake has to offer. The smiling folks of Brunswick like to hang out close by. A lake close by is Campbell Lake, and Knee Buckle is an exciting place to visit while at Smith Lake.
