All the outdoors enjoyable things in close proximity to Smith Lake will keep you coming back many times. Golf can be played at Pine Ridge National Golf &       Country Club, and there are other locations here than Smith Lake, for example Lake Judy. Smith Lake frequently gets a good deal of precipitation; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Smith Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Truitt-fulton; not far from Smith Lake you'll locate Magnolia Lake which is a lovely lake. Stay the night                  at South Oaks Manufactured Home, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Annewakee River. This lake is so wonderful. Peeks Branch Shoal Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here, and if you come at the right time of year, Line Creek offers some fine whitewater. Throughout the days of summer at Smith Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Smith Lake sink into the 20's.
