People from Statesboro love to come to Smith Lake; Parkwood RV Park is a tremendous campground nearby. Smith Lake is a quite wet place generally with a lot of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. A glorious nearby hotel is Quality Inn & Suites, and you don’t have to go far from Smith Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at       Smith Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western University Inn is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and Smith Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Beaver Run RV Park and Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. Throughout the long summer days at Smith Lake highs are regularly in the 90's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's.
