     Smith Dam is worth going to since you're here; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Hawkinsville Inn & Suites. There's so much to do here at Smith Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Back to Nature Campground is a brilliant place for that, and Smith Lake is not the only place close by, Harris Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Woods Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby, and after a long day outdoors AMERICAS BEST INNS HAWKINSVILLE  
   is a good location to spend a night or two. The smiling people of Warner Robins like to hang out close by, and if you've had enough of Smith Lake, Phillips Pond is nearby.
Smith Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through March this area sees the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Smith Lake. Stay the night at Hillside Bluegrass RV Park. Summer at Smith Lake comes
 
               with high temperatures in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's. Highs all through the wintertime are mostly in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Smith Lake.
