There's so much to do here at Slocumbs Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground is a great site for that. For the period of the summer months at Slocumbs Lake highs are usually in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Slocumbs       Lake tend to be in the 30's. Slocumbs Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Just can't get enough of Slocumbs Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Macon East, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Macon. This lake is so wonderful. Big Creek is a delightful place to go to, and if you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some brilliant                  whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Slocumbs Lake without first going for a hike along the Twin Bridges Trail, and Jones Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. If time allows, Ocmulgee National Monument is a national park worth checking out, and a lake close by is Martin-Marietta Lake. There's brilliant hiking along the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Gray is a great site to spend a night or two.
