A visit to Sky Valley Lake is always a good idea. Sky Valley Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The high level of rainfall makes Sky Valley Lake a reasonably wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Lakes? Sure, Spring Lake is around here; if you're here, you could stop at Jake Branch.

| | here at Sky Valley Lake get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Sky Valley Lake tend to be in the 20's. Alex Gap is near Sky Valley Lake and is a brilliant location, and Sky Valley Dam is a charming place, absolutely worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bartram Trail, and if you need a place to stay Dillard House is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on
Middle Creek; everybody close by loves skiing at Sky Valley. Meek Field is a magnificent place here at Sky Valley Lake; a pleasant close by hotel is Ramada Inn.
You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool
things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The skiing at Scaly Mountain is wonderful, and do put some time aside to spend at Estatoah Falls while you're here at Sky Valley Lake. This location, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors
cool stuff. If you came to camp Christian's warwoman Campground is a brilliant site to do that. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Sky Valley Lake has it all. Raven Rock is an attention-grabbing spot to stop at
while at Sky Valley Lake, and Sky Valley Lake is right by the Three Forks Trail.
If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Darnell Creek, and camping at Mountain City RV Park is always a splendid experience.
