Sky Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is October. So much exciting stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just amazing. The scenery at Sky Lake Dam near Sky Lake is pretty, and lots of people from Cornelia come here. Summertime highs at Sky Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down       to the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Sky Lake plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Mud Creek, and there's wonderful hiking along the Chattahoochee Trail. After a long day outdoors Best Western Alpine Helen is a great site to spend a night or two, and get drenched paddling on Chattahoochee River. This lake is                  so wonderful. Grimes Nose is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Sky Lake; why not camp at Cherokee Campground if you're here at Sky Lake. If you adore the outdoors, you'll like Sky Lake. Econo Lodge Helen is a splendid spot to get some rest; an afternoon playing golf at Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club is always a joy. Sky Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Sautee Creek Watershed Number 13 Lake is a splendid lake near Sky Lake; Lynch Mountain is simple to spot from Sky Lake. So many exciting things to do here at Sky Lake, too magnificent to be true. Don't leave Sky Lake without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Sleepy Hollow Campground is a tremendous location to camp; needless to say Bean Creek is a delightful stream that is worth a visit. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Lakes?
