Georgia has many beautiful lakes and Sky Lake is one of them. Sky Lake is a quite wet place typically with lots of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Bean Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Sky Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cherokee Campground. someone from Cornelia. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and if you get bored of Sky Lake you could also stop by nearby Unicoi Lake. So many cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains,
just amazing. Reservoir 22 is a nearby lake that you could pop by; you don’t have to go far from Sky Lake to distinguish the water at Sky Lake Dam. Sky Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. That right there is
a lot already, but it continues; Sky Lake has it all. There's so much to do here at Sky Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sleepy Hollow Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and if you need a place to stay Econo Lodge
Helen is a brilliant choice. Float down the rapids of Mud Creek in a kayak, and while you're here at Sky Lake, checking out Grimes Nose is a must. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chattahoochee River,
and Best Western Alpine Helen is a good site to get some rest. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. You get a great view of Lynch Mountain from Sky Lake.
