Silver Lake is a nice lake to visit. Throughout the summer highs here at Silver Lake get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 60's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Silver Lake during the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 20's. Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a magnificent local destination here at Silver Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Creek. Do take a look at Simmons Lake

This lake is so wonderful. White Water Learning Center is a pleasant campground nearby. The high level of rain makes Silver Lake a relatively wet site; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Westin Atlanta North At Perimeter Center is a pleasant location to spend a night or two; if you're here, you could also check out delightful DeKalb
County Water Works. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do next to Silver Lake. A good nearby hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Atlanta Medical Center; let's not forget North Fork Nancy Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon
while here. There are plenty of people from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here at Silver Lake; Silver Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, White Water Express is a tremendous place to camp nearby.
