All the water falling down from the sky makes Silver Lake a wet place; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is November. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Stevens Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. So many cool things to do here at Silver Lake, too       delightful to be true. Silver Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Heritage Mobile Home Community is a wonderful local campground, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Silver Lake Dam. Lakes? Sure, Mount Olive Lake is around here; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Silver Lake you'll probably meet some people from Augusta-Richmond County; if you                  need a spot to stay Holiday Inn AUGUSTA WEST I-20 is a perfect choice. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Woodbridge Lake; Best Western Evans Hotel is a nice place to get some rest. Some nearby water includes Mount Enna Branch, and glide down the rapids of Savannah River in a kayak. Summertime at Silver Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's.
