In Georgia there are many beautiful lakes, Silver Lake is one of them. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail, and whitewater paddling is nice on Savannah River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If you need a location to stay Best Western Evans Hotel is a tremendous choice; paddling on Stevens Creek is so much fun. A pretty lake like McManus Ponds right next door to Silver Lake is a perfect site to check out, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Silver Lake Dam. Silver Lake is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a great deal of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and November on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Forks Campground since you're here at Silver Lake; needless to say Mount Enna
Branch flows through this area. Summertime highs at Silver Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Silver Lake.
