I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Shore Pond. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chattahoochee River; North Fork Mud Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. During the summer here at Shore Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 40's, and throughout       the dark hours in the wintertime at Shore Pond temperatures drop to the 20's. After a long day outdoors Cornelia-Days Inn is a nice place to spend a night or two. Going for a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Cornelia is a great choice. Shore Pond is a good spot to camp, Mountain Creek Grove Nudist is a good spot; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along                  the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Shore Pond is nice fun, Union Grove Campground is a nice local campground, and do stop at Barrett Pond, it's a pretty lake. Here at Shore Pond you'll possibly meet some people from Cornelia; if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
