Shore Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout March, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Don't leave Shore Pond without first going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Chattahoochee River. Dry warm beds await you at Cornelia-Days Inn, and since you're here, you could also stop at lovely Thomas Pond.

of summer at Shore Pond highs are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Shore Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Raven Cliff Falls Trail is always a perfect adventure, and if you're popping by from Cornelia, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful.
