    Seymours Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Seymours Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is September. At Seymours Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's,  
   and through the dark hours in the winter at Seymours Lake temperatures dip to the 20's.
If you come at the right time of year, Skull Shoal Creek offers some wonderful whitewater, and a journey to Seymours Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Watson Shoals. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Clouds Creek; why not take a little trip to Clouds Creek if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Watson Mill Bridge State Park is always a
 
               wonderful experience; after a long day outdoors Elberton-Days Inn is a great place to spend a night or two.
Looking for something right next door to Seymours Lake? Payne Lake is around here, and camping is available at River's Edge. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Seymours Lake. There are plenty of people from Athens-Clarke County here at Seymours Lake, as expected you could also stop at Glenn Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Whitehead Dam is worth stopping at since you're here, and Ramada Limited Royston is a great place to get some rest.
