     There are other places here than Selmans Lake, for example Round Lake, and a great close by hotel is Days Inn La Fayette. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Sucker Lake near Selmans Lake, and if you're here, you could take a look at Chappel Creek. This lake is so wonderful. James H. Floyd State Park is a great local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Allen Creek. This spot is excellent, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in  
   the vicinity of Selmans Lake. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Gulf Creek; Selmans Lake is a good site to visit for more than one day, Rome-floyd County Recreation is a good site to camp nearby.
Summertime highs at Selmans Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for
