It's a delightful idea to go to Selman Creek, it's next to Selman Lake, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Rome is a splendid choice. Just can't get enough of Selman Lake. Selman Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Rome-floyd County Recreation is a pleasant       local campground. Lakes are great; Maddox Lake is a lake that's near Selman Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Throughout the long summer days at Selman Lake highs are generally in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Selman Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Howard Johnson Express Inn Rome is a pleasant site to get some rest;                  if you're going to from Summerville, you won't be the only one. The high level of precipitation makes Selman Lake a rather wet spot; the month with most of the rain is March, and August meanwhile is the driest month. Near Selman Lake you hit upon tremendous locations like Dirttown Valley, and a journey to Bryant Spring will fill your soul with wonderful feelings. There's so much to do here at Selman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, James H.
