Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Ogeechee River, and lakes are such serene locations, why not visit Upper Yarbrough Lake. Segars Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with       the most rain while October is commonly the driest month. So much cool stuff to do here at Segars Pond, too great to be true. Summertime highs at Segars Pond regularly tend to be in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; overnight lows in the 30's for Segars Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Twin City Country Club is a golf course right next door to Segars Pond, and Days Inn                  Sandersville is a glorious location to get some rest.
