Scout Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Ocmulgee National Monument is a national park worth going to, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Oakview Golf Course. A nice nearby hotel is Quality Inn Byron; if you came to camp Robbin Rv Park is a brilliant spot to do that. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Scout Lake is great! Byron-Days Inn is a good spot to get some rest.

| | Scout Lake is a pretty wet place mostly with a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is October. High temperatures at Scout Lake all through the summertime are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. are in the 30's. While you're here at Scout Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Fort Valley. There's so much to do here at Scout Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Interstate RV Center and Campground is a nice
place for that.
Juniper Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at; there's some attention-grabbing stuff to distinguish at South Lake Dam close to Scout Lake.
