There are plenty of people from Fort Valley here at Scout Lake; Quality Inn Byron is a good spot to get some rest. If you get bored of Scout Lake, you could also stop at close by Kraftsman Association Lake. There's so much to do here at Scout Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Interstate RV Center and Campground is a nice site for that; if you have the time,       Ocmulgee National Monument is a national park worth checking out. So many entertaining things in close proximity to Scout Lake, just tremendous. South Lake Dam has magnificent water scenery and it's close to Scout Lake, and if you're here, you could go to Juniper Creek. Oakview Golf Course is a golf course in the vicinity of Scout Lake; after a long day outdoors Byron-Days Inn is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. If you came to camp Robbin Rv Park                  is a pleasant place to do that; Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop at. For the duration of the summertime at Scout Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Scout Lake.
