If you're going to Scotts Lake from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, you won't be the only one, and a wonderful place to camp here at Scotts Lake is Shingle Roof Campground. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Scotts Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Scotts       Lake tend to be in the 30's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Scotts Lake a wet site; March is the month that gets the most rain, and September on the other hand is the driest.
