At Scott Lake through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 40's; overnight lows in the 20's for Scott Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place near Scott Lake is Crow Gap, and at Scott Lake you always meet someone       from Summerville. There are great spots to explore along the Skyuka Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Allen Creek. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. Canyon Ridge Golf Course is a golf course right next door to Scott Lake, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Gulf Creek. Don't leave Scott Lake without first going for a hike along the Bluff Trail,                  and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Trenton. This lake is so wonderful. Cloudland Canyon State Park is a wonderful campground nearby. Scott Lake gets a large amount of water; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.
