Near Scott Lake you stumble on Crow Gap which is a good site to check out, and paddling on Allen Creek is so much fun. All through the summer months at Scott Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Scott Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to       do in close proximity to Scott Lake. Going for a hike along the Skyuka Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; a golf course close by is Canyon Ridge Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Scott Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sequoyah Caverns and Campgrounds is a delightful place for that, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Bluff Trail. After a long day outdoors Key West Inn La Fayette                  is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Lakes are delightful; Green Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Scott Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Trenton Days Inn, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Summerville for sure. The high level of precipitation makes Scott Lake a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
