Be careful coming to Schley Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. If you came for an overnight stay Country Vista Campground is a great spot to camp, and some nearby water includes Hollis Branch. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some good folks from Columbus here, and after a long day outdoors Microtel Columbus Fort Benning is a good site to spend a night or two.       A great deal of rainfall falls at Schley Pond; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not camp at Camp Vista Campground while you're here at Schley Pond, and Bush Hill is a peak you can make out from Schley Pond. Playing golf is lots of fun at Red Oak Golf Club; Super Value Inn-Richland is a great site to get some rest. For the period of the warm days of summer at Schley Pond temperatures                  are regularly in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 70's.
