Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hard Labor Creek. There's so much to do here at Saye Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hard Labor Creek State Park is a great place for that. This place rules, just look at all the enjoyable things to do near       Saye Lake. A nice nearby hotel is Quality Inn Madison, and why not take a look at Saye Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Hard Labor Creek Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby, and getting to Rawlings Branch from Saye Lake is easy. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Saye Lake. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at                  Saye Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Saye Lake a pretty wet spot; March is the wettest month with most rain; September is when it's the driest. Do stop by Ervin Lake close to Saye Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and Saye Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Talisman Campark is a brilliant local campground.
