At Sawnee Lake you always meet someone from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta; some nearby water includes Bentley Creek. Just can't get enough of Sawnee Lake. After a long day outdoors Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta North/Alpharetta is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and soar down the rapids of Settingdown Creek in       a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Sawnee Lake Dam is a lovely place close to Sawnee Lake, and visiting Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. A large amount of rainfall falls at Sawnee Lake; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. There are other places here than Sawnee Lake, for example Cumming Twin Lakes; you can have a great hiking adventure along                  the Brookshire Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Sawnee Lake and you like golf, you can explore Crooked Creek Golf Club, and why not camp at Twin Lakes Park if you're here at Sawnee Lake. Through the warm days of summer at Sawnee Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's.
