If you are in this part of Georgia make sure to pay a visit to Sargent Lake. Summertime highs at Sargent Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Sargent Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. | | and you can run the rapids of Marsh Creek. After a long day outdoors Sleep Inn is a glorious spot to spend a night or two; if you're here you can play some golf at Crooked Creek Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Brookshire Creek Trail; if you've had enough of Sargent Lake, Bell Lake is nearby. is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Marietta Campground is a splendid place to do that, and get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Big Creek. You'll
meet a lot of folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here. There's so much to do here at Sargent Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Lakes Park is a pleasant place for that. So many enjoyable things right next door
to Sargent Lake, completely fantastic. A nice close by hotel is Doubletree Hotel Atlanta/Alpharetta-Windward, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Sargent Dam.
