Many people like to go to Sanford Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The vistas at Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area will blow your mind, and get dripping wet paddling on Marsh Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Sanford Lake is good fun, La Siesta RV Park is a good local campground, and while you're here and you like golf, you can explore Bradshaw Farms Golf Course.

| | there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Brookshire Creek Trail. A pretty lake like Chaffin Road Lake right next door to Sanford Lake is a pleasant place to check out, and if you came for an overnight stay Marietta Campground is a good site to camp. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Roswell Suites, and paddling on Big Creek is so much fun.

March you get the most rain around here while October is usually the driest month. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do in close proximity to Sanford Lake. Tharp Lake Dam is a site that is in the neighborhood of Sanford Lake; Executive Suites At Sec Unlmtd is a pleasant site to get some rest.
