Sandy Lake is a reasonably wet place regularly with a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while November is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps don’t sound that fine but Casino Slough near Sandy Lake is rather fine, and Bonnet Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Through the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Sandy Lake,       and all through the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's with temperatures at Sandy Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are truly plentiful here at Sandy Lake. A nice place to camp here at Sandy Lake is Beaver Creek RV Campground. Jesup, Ga. Days Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest; Sandy Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pinelake Campgrounds is a                  good local campground. If you need a place to stay Ramada Jesup is a good choice, and do visit Bar Hole Lake, it's a gorgeous lake.
