Sandy Lake is not far at all from Jesup; swamps are interesting places and Casino Slough near Sandy Lake is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. A nice close by hotel is Days Inn Jesup, obviously you could also go to Bar Hole Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. If you need a spot to stay Ramada       Jesup is a fine choice, and possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Whaley Lake is just a very short distance away. Summertime highs at Sandy Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and night lows at Sandy Lake through the winter mostly dip into the 30's. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place.
