Through the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Sanders Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Sanders Lake are in the 20's. Playing golf is lots of fun at Pine Ridge National Golf & Country Club; some of the water close by flows, like Alexander Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wolf Creek,       and do go to Barnes Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Sanders Lake. Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Newnan. Get drenched paddling on Hurricane Creek; you'll probably meet some folks from LaGrange here. Sanders Lake Dam is a scenic site near Sanders Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Shenandoah Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two.
