Take a little visit to Almand Creek if you're here at Salem Lake, and a lake close by is Georges Lake. A pleasant spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Salem Lake is South River, and a good spot to camp here at Salem Lake is Salem Campground. This lake is so wonderful. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Enjoy a round of golf at Highland Golf Club not far from Salem Lake, and camping is available       at Campwest Minster. This lake is so wonderful. Ub Lake Dam is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and dry warm beds await you at Conyers-Days Inn. Salem Lake Dam is not far at all from Salem Lake, and do pay a visit to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail if you're here at Salem Lake. Get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Yellow River; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites COVINGTON is a pleasant location to get some rest. All the water                  falling down from the sky makes Salem Lake a wet site; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here while September is commonly the driest month.
