A pleasant site to camp here at Royal Lake is Cherokee Campground; a wonderful location for whitewater paddling is Mud Creek. Good hiking is available along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and a delightful lake like Sky Lake is a good spot to have a look at. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Royal Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Royal Lake; Chattahoochee Trail is a great local trail, and       dry warm beds await you at Best Western Riverpark Inn & Conference Center Alpine Helen. Camping at Sleepy Hollow Campground is always a perfect experience, and Rodeway Inn Helen is a good place to get some rest. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Chattahoochee River is a nice whitewater spot near Royal Lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Crumley Creek is a stream you can check out                  while here. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. At Royal Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Royal Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. The high level of rain makes Royal Lake a pretty wet place; the month with most of the rain is March, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Royal Lake you can play some golf at Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club, and Reservoir 18 is a nice lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. You might want to pay a visit to Sautee Valley if you're here at Royal Lake; Grimes Nose is a great place to stop by while in the vicinity. That right there is heaps of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. One of the principal characteristics of the surroundings of Royal Lake is Elder Knob; you'll meet a lot of folks from Cornelia here. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Royal Lake, too good to be true.
