This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Macon East. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Rowland Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Gray is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and don't leave Rowland       Lake without first going for a hike along the Twin Bridges Trail. Rowland Lake gets a lot of water; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is October. Lakes are nice; Ussery Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Rowland Lake; you can run the rapids of Little River. That right there is plenty already, but it carries on; Rowland Lake has it all. If you're visiting Rowland Lake from Macon, you won't be the                  only one, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Douglas Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Rowland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little River Park is a tremendous site for that. Rowland Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and since you're here and you like golf, you can explore Jones County Lake Jonesco Golf Course. For the period of the summer highs here at Rowland Lake get into the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
