Many people like to go to Ross Lake. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. Not far from Ross Lake you acquire some great water scenery at Oneal Wynn Lake Dam, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ashburn Inn. Ross Lake is a pretty wet place usually with a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls through July while October is generally the driest month.

| | is Holly Isles Campground, and camping at Southern Gates RV Park and Campground is always a wonderful experience. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Ross Lake there are plenty of folks from Tifton, and if you need a place to stay Howard Johnson Inn Ashburn is a good choice. There are other locations here than Ross Lake, for example Blue Pond; of course Lake Creek flows through this area.

the nighttime is rather cooler of course, regularly in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Ross Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's.
