Scaly Mountain is a good location to do that. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Rogers-Sale Lake. If you came to camp Permisson Valley Campground is a nice spot to do that, and going for a hike on the Stewart Trail       is always a tremendous adventure. Since you're here at Rogers-Sale Lake why not visit Howard Gap, and if you're here, you could also visit delightful Silvan Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant spot for whitewater paddling close to Rogers-Sale Lake is Tallulah River, and everybody close by loves skiing at Sky Valley. While you're here at Rogers-Sale Lake you can play some golf at Rabun County Golf Club, and great hiking is available along the Hurricane                  Creek Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Dillard is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and an attention-grabbing thing to stop at close to Rogers-Sale Lake is Rogers-Sale Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Gage Trail; Rogers-Sale Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Tallulah River Campground is a fine local campground. Lots of precipitation falls at Rogers-Sale Lake; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. All year is a good time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Coleman River; hey, Devils Branch is a tremendous local stream. So many exciting things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just mind-boggling. During the summer months at Rogers-Sale Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Rogers-Sale Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Black Rock Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites Mt.
