Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Near Rodgers Lake you find the Whitly Gap Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and a lake close by is Whitners Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Chestatee River for all you thrill seekers, and some nearby water includes Moose Creek. Throughout the summer highs here at Rodgers Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down       to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows at Rodgers Lake throughout the winter regularly dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Rodgers Lake you could always discover Stonepile Gap; Cedar House Yurt Cabins is a good local campground. A lot of rainfall falls at Rodgers Lake; all through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Rodgers Lake is a                  beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too brilliant to be true. Econo Lodge Dahlonega is a magnificent site to get some rest, and at Rodgers Lake you can catch a sight of Three Sisters Mountain. Just can't get enough of Rodgers Lake. Rodgers Lake is not the only site close by, Ricketts Lake is a close by lake, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the DeSoto Falls Trail. On a nice day at Rodgers Lake you can take a hike along the Black Mountain Trail, and Rodgers Lake Dam is a gorgeous site. Rodgers Lake is not far at all from Gainesville.
