A large amount of rainfall falls at Rives Lake; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is August. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Sleep Inn & Suites is a glorious choice, and Rives Lake is a place with many visitors from Athens-Clarke County.       Through the warm days of summer here at Rives Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Rives Lake. Rives Lake is not the only location close by, Williamsons Lake is a close by lake, and you don’t have to go far from Rives Lake to see the water at Rives Lake Dam. If you want a great time in the great                  outdoors, just come on down to Rives Lake. Candlewood Suites ATHENS-GA is a magnificent site to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Simmeron Park. Looking for some flowing water? Try Beech Creek.
