This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Nicklaus Golf Club at Birch River, and Ricketts Lake Dam is a stunning location, certainly worth going to.

Ricketts Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Crisson Campground is a delightful local campground, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Camp Glisson Lower Lake is just a very short distance away.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a splendid hiking trail near Ricketts Lake called the Black Mountain Trail, and camping at Cedar House Yurt Cabins is always a pleasant experience. You truly must go for the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Near Ricketts Lake you locate the DeSoto Falls Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Chestatee River.
