Beautiful Ricketts Lake has much to offer visitors. This is a popular place for folks from Gainesville; you can go for a hike on the DeSoto Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nicklaus Golf Club at Birch River is a brilliant golf course close by; Ricketts Lake is a pleasant spot to camp, Crisson Campground is a pleasant spot. This lake is so wonderful. The vista of Three Sisters Mountain from Ricketts Lake is charming, and don't leave Ricketts Lake without
first going for a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail. So many enjoyable things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just fantastic. Whitewater paddling is fine on Yahoola Creek, and the scenery at Ricketts Lake Dam is pretty.
Summertime
highs at Ricketts Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Ricketts
Lake. Any time is a magnificent time at Ricketts Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ricketts Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cedar House Yurt Cabins, and unsurprisingly Left Fork Cavenders Creek is a pretty stream that is worth going to.
