Lakes are brilliant; Murphy Lake is a lake that's near Richardson Lake, and you can run the rapids of South River. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Richardson Lake reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Richardson Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You definitely have to like Richardson Lake. Quality Inn Covington is a brilliant place to get some rest, and there are magnificent places to discover along the Allison Lake Wildlife
Trail. Richardson Lake ordinarily gets a great deal of precipitation; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here; September is when it's the driest.

Beyond the park is unknown territory....Yellow river at Poterdale can get pretty tough after a good rain. Bring your A game!...water from 124 to porterdale is about 3 feet average in the summertime. lots of fun. easy river. clean too. lots of fallen trees in the water, great wildlife, snakes, turtles and fish. the dam in porterdale is easily passed adn the rapids following are verry shallow. email at coadydraven@yahoo.com with questions.... |
