Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Richardson Lake reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Richardson Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Ocmulgee River Trail is always a nice       adventure, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Covington GA. You're probably keen on lakes, Sheppard Lake is one of those nearby; if you came for an overnight stay Indian Springs State Park is a tremendous site to camp. Sardis Campground is a splendid local campground, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Alcovy River. There is a glorious hiking trail close to Richardson Lake called the Kinnard Horse Trail, and do go to Richardson Lake                  Dam if you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
