Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Dawson Village Inn; there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Settingdown Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Reservoir Six a wet location; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest of the months is October. Why not camp at Sawnee Campground if you're here       at Reservoir Six, and Reservoir Five is a glorious lake close by. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The Brookshire Creek Trail is a magnificent hiking trail in the vicinity of Reservoir Six; there's whitewater on Etowah River for all you adrenaline people. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Dawsonville is a great place to spend a night or two, and Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a                  wonderful local destination. This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Reservoir Six is Lumpkin Campground. Reservoir Six is a place with many visitors from Gainesville; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Country Land Golf Course. For the duration of the warm months, highs generally are in the 80's at Reservoir Six while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's.
