The nice folks of Gainesville like to hang out close by, and Antioch Campground is a perfect local campground. Reservoir One gets a good deal of water; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area close to Reservoir One has to offer. Why not stop at Middle Oconee Structure Number One Dam if you're here, and if you

| | don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River - East Fork. Some of the water nearby flows, like Candler Branch, and if you've had enough of Reservoir One, Reservoir Seven is nearby. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Oakwood is a great choice; whitewater paddling is great on Flat Creek. A perfect close by hotel is Scottish Inns Oakwood; why not camp at River Forks Park and Campground since you're here at Reservoir One. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Gainesville Stone Lake is close to Reservoir One, and Gainesville City Government Chattahoochee Golf Course is a great golf course close by. The warmest time of the year brings highs
in the 80's to Reservoir One. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Reservoir One.
