    What a nice lake Reservoir One is. This is a wonderful neighborhood for people who like lakes. Reservoir Seven is a lake close at hand, and camping at River Forks Park and Campground is always a great experience. Reservoir One is a quite wet place ordinarily with a great deal of rainfall; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. Looking for some flowing water? Try Candler Branch, and camping  
   is available at Antioch Campground.
You're sure to stumble upon some cheerful folks from Gainesville here, and an afternoon playing golf at Gainesville City Government Chattahoochee Golf Course is always a delight. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Reservoir One has to offer. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Gainesville Stone Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Little River
 
               - East Fork offers some pleasant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Metro Ext Stay Gainesville is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and the scenery at Middle Oconee Structure Number One Dam is picturesque.
If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Gainesville is a fine choice, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Flat Creek. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Reservoir One get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Reservoir One are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.

This is a Super Campground, but it might be important for you to know that it is ''clothing optional'' ... you wear as much or as little as you want, but don't be surprised to see people wearing just a smile.? Also, the name as now changed to Paradise Valley Resort.? It is family oriented and there is a daily fee....

We stayed at this campground in October 2005. It is nice camp ground and very reasonable with the cost. Grounds are well keep and it is neat and orderly. I intend to stay there this coming october. I would recommend it....
