The beauty of Reservoir Number One attracts many people from all around. Summer at Reservoir Number One arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows in the 20's for Reservoir Number One. A quick spree to Bannister Creek near Reservoir Number One is a tremendous idea, and if you come at the right time of year, Settingdown Creek offers some nice whitewater.

pleasant water scenery at Etowah River Subwatershed Number One Dam. There are other sites here than Reservoir Number One, for example Reservoir Four; get yourself into a kayak and hit Amicalola Creek. If only every place had this
much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. While you're here at Reservoir Number One you can play some golf at Chestatee Golf Club. There's so much to do here at Reservoir Number One that you need to camp here for
a while, Lumpkin Campground is a magnificent spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. A good deal of rain falls at Reservoir Number One; through March this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest.
