     After a long day outdoors Sleep Inn Lavonia is a good place to spend a night or two, and great water scenery is available at North Broad River Structure Four Dam close to Reservoir Four. Camping is available at Sunset Campground. You're sure to run into some fine people from Toccoa here, and a magnificent place to camp here at Reservoir Four is Poplar Springs Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Shoal Creek, and Holiday Inn  
   Express Hotel & Suites LAVONIA is a glorious place to get some rest.
Reservoir Four sees pretty high levels of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is October. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Reservoir Four. Rice Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby; there are other places here than Reservoir Four, for example Reservoir 33. Not far from Reservoir Four, you'll
 
               discover Reservoir Five which is a pretty lake, and it's a tremendous idea to take a look at Clarks Creek.
All through the summertime here at Reservoir Four, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and the night is a little colder of course, usually in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Reservoir Four night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.

Stonecypher Lake
...son Stonecypher and was constructed in the mid 1950's.
The shorelines are constant except in times of heavy rainfall and original life of lake was projected to exceed 100 years. Silt accumulation after 20 years was approximately .5 inche. Normal elevation is apporximately 800'. Feeder streams maintain lake levels even during extended periods of insufficient rainfall and at the same time provide spill into the exiting stream bed.
The lake has been pulled down during periods of heavy construction of highways across the feeder streams to allow silt to return to the streams and pass thru thedrain gates.
Buena Vista Dr crosses the lake in two places; one being the main dam and again on the Coe Branch inlet. Original construction of dams accommodated these crossings.
Over the years sport fishing has been excellent with large mouth Bass, Crappie, Brem, Pike And Catfish, however fishing is limited due to private ownership of property including the lake basin.
