Camping at Sawnee Campground is always a splendid experience, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Reservoir Six is just a very short distance away. Reservoir Five gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is March while October is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a great site near Reservoir Five; a great nearby       hotel is Comfort Inn Dawsonville. High temperatures at Reservoir Five throughout the summertime months are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's; night lows during the wintertime for Reservoir Five tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a splendid vicinity for people who like lakes. Reservoir Four is a lake around here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy                  this place. If you need a place to stay Best Western Dawson Village Inn is a splendid choice; Reservoir Five is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Lumpkin Campground is a delightful local campground. Country Land Golf Course is a golf course next to Reservoir Five, and if you're visiting from Gainesville, you won't be the only one. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Settingdown Creek, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail.
