Reservoir Five is not the only site close by, Reservoir Six is a close by lake; you'll meet a lot of people from Gainesville here. High temperatures at Reservoir Five during the summertime are in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets       highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Reservoir Five descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Dawsonville is a great choice, and Reservoir Five is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Sawnee Campground is a brilliant location to camp nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Do have a look at Beaverdam Creek Watershed Structure Number                  Five Dam if you're here at Reservoir Five, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Dawson Village Inn. Reservoir Five is a pretty wet place ordinarily with a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls through March, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Settingdown Creek, and Lumpkin Campground is a magnificent local campground.
