If you are in Jackson county it's always a good idea to stop by Reservoir Eight. All the water falling down from the sky makes Reservoir Eight a wet site; March is the month that gets the most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Reservoir Eight that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Lake RV Campground is a magnificent place for that; folks from Athens-Clarke County love to come here. This lake is so wonderful.

For the period of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Reservoir Eight. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; during
the dark hours in the wintertime at Reservoir Eight temperatures sink to the 20's. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Reservoir Eight has it all. An interesting thing to take a look at in close proximity to Reservoir Eight is Sandy Creek Structure Eight Dam, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Athens.
