There's so much to do here at Reservoir 51 that you need to camp here for a while, Lumber Jacks Camping Resort is a perfect place for that. At Reservoir 51 throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Reservoir 51. This lake is so wonderful. For you       golfers we recommend nearby Sandy Creek Golf Course Eagle, and this is a popular place for people from Cornelia. Take a side tour to Black Creek; lakes are such peaceful sites, why not take a look at Hills Lake. This site rocks, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do right next door to Reservoir 51. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites COMMERCE-TANGER OUTLETS is a fine location to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Commerce Koa Kampground.                  There's always Hills Lake Dam to take a look at in close proximity to Reservoir 51, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on North Oconee River. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Comfort Suites Commerce is a great choice; you'll come across a lovely lake called Reservoir 33.
