It's always fun to stop by Reservoir 42. If you came for an overnight stay Early Sundown Campground is a glorious place to camp, and if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Cornelia is a nice choice. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A wonderful nearby hotel is Cornelia-Days Inn, and there's magnificent hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. | | to Reservoir 42 you'll meet some folks from Cornelia for sure, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Reservoir 42; Whitly Gap Trail is a splendid local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff to do are in fact plentiful here at Reservoir 42. stop by Reservoir 13 since you're here at Reservoir 42; it's nearby, and Mud Creek is a fine whitewater spot nearby. Reservoir 42 gets much water; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. So
much fun stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just astonishing. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattahoochee River, and magnificent hiking is available along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail.
For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Reservoir 42. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Reservoir 42 tend to be in the 20's.
