Summer at Reservoir 31 arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; overnight lows all through the wintertime for Reservoir 31 tend to be in the 20's. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Reservoir 31 has to offer, you can camp at Pine Lake RV Campground, and you're sure to stumble       upon some smiling folks from Athens-Clarke County here. Hiking along the Falling Camp Trail is tremendous fun, and naturally South Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth a visit. Reservoir 31 gets a lot of water; March is the wettest month with most rain; September is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Big Clouds Creek in a kayak; you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Mounds Trail. Reservoir 31 is a                  fine place to camp, Commerce Koa Kampground is a fine place, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Scull Shoals Trail. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be. Playing golf is lots of fun at Sunrise Golf Club, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Athens. This lake is so wonderful.
